<< The products will eventually come. And sometime either before or after that, the stock price will follow. >> There is an old estimate of over $14 per share, in 2006. That estimate was before the latest scientific breakthru. $14 per share @ 30 times earnings, would make an investment of $13,000 now, worth $420,000 between now and 2006, without taking into consideration the latest breakthru. That is one part of what is keeping me in this stock. There's no guarantee that LGND will make $14 per share in 2006. But, LGND seems a very credible investment when you consider the pipeline, and, as you wrote, "An awful lot of major pharma's in collaboration with LGND", plus Henry's total devotion to Ligand's science. I can't believe that a person, with Henry's knowledge and background and enthusiasm, could be significantly incorrect about Ligand's science, and Ligand's ability to bring their science to market.
