If the prior message is correct (no reason to doubt the announcement) CPQ has now made a very attractive offer to corporations in the form of a fairly cheap lease option. This is another factor to add into the determination of quality at this point. Being able to lease from $4K permonth up a comparable machine for debugging Y2K software sounds like a strong plus to me... it gets MORE hardware out there and really commits CPQ on the side of those trying to solve the problems.
