Let's say PROBABLY, how did you reach this probability?

I don't know if it's true or not. I say probably becuase

1) The current growth of NT
2) Microsoft's success in promoting it's products
3) UNIX vendors complete lack of marketing ability
4) The impending demise of Novell

Again, I have no idea what will happen tomorrow let alone 5 years from now.
