Dennis, the shorts have had plenty of time to cover over the past six months. Perhaps now they will be caught leaning the wrong way, as will those who expect a typical AAPL swoon during options expiration. Sometimes the most money is to be made by having the price go the opposite direction--so maybe you are right. Today's volume is very, very encouraging. The question is, can we make any progress from here or is $34 the cap until we hear what the eps are?

This is a good quarter to have the ARM profits too, as it will make the overall eps look that much better. Ops have the potential for a very nice upside surprise.

Btw, Andrew, do you think AAPL is tracking DELL as well? A bit harder to keep track of due to difference in price. I have noticed that DELL is now giving serious competition to AAPL as the year's top S&P performer.
