TO ARIELLA AND OTHERS WHO HAVE A THOUGHT ON THIS;
THE NUMBER OF SHARES HELD SHORT ON PHARMOS AT END OF JUNE WAS 1,102,464
THE NUMBER OF SHARES (SHORT INTEREST) AT END OF MAY WAS 768,043
Hence, the number of new short positions on Pharmos in June amounted to 334,421
Did that have something to do with the stock dropping from 2 7/8 to 2 1/2?
With an average daily volume of 202,368 in June, it would take the shorts about 5.45 days to cover their positions.
Is this bullish?
More short selling from July 1st to the present? Time will tell.
Seems to be that a slight buying interest of 300,000 to 500,000 on a given day to pop the stock up and put the pressure back on the shorts.?Just a thought, Robert
