I know of so many couples that have split up for financial reasons: for that reason I am empassioned to bring good news to those not being blessed as they should.
I call it wilderness existence. Desert living is also a good term. The Lord took care of three million to seven million people in the desert after the flight from Egypt; but there was always just enough; what we are looking for is more than enough.
In the promised land He promised houses ( plural) and a land of plenty, of great abundance, to be a blessing you must first be blessed to overflowing. Just having enough to always meet the bills is IMO just enough.
A great place to start is rebuking a spirit of debt. I have found that God will not begin to start blessing you in greater abundance until a concerted effort is made to get out of debt, all debt, anykind of debt. For some couples the wife is the culprit for some the husband for some, IE most, both are to blame. You see there is no partial spirit of debt . Either it is all there or it isn't. You cannot have a "little " of the spirit of debt. A little leads to a lot or constant debt. The spirit of debt is not satisfied unless it is being fed. It will always require a little debt, which leads to much debt. It is just like evil. Hate it all.
Try the Lord. Start making the effort to get out of debt completely. What you cannot do in the natural He will do for you in the supernatural. But He will not start helping until the decision is made to get that debt off your back.
I have found there are two ways to prosper. One have a big income. Two, build, create and multiply wealth. Creating wealth is a generational thing; it passes down to the great and great great grandkids. A high income is eaten up taxes, lavish living, and doctors visits.
I know of a couple that is trying to prosper and just cannot. The husband blames the wife because he says she is only interested in spending money and he is the one interested in making money. They have a few financial assets like 50 shares of stock that the grandmother gave them when they got married 20 years ago. To us the solution is obvious. Start a little saving account; open an IRA; get involved in payroll deduction. But just start !!
But then you have this great American middle class Christian culture; that have a few assets; put it in the market and lose most of it during years that the market is going up 25% to 35%. I hear it over and over.
What is my answer. It is almost like Moses being given the directive from God to see the promised land but not allowed to go in. We have generations just like this of Christian families that have been given the same directive from God( or so it seems ). I am a firm believer of Habakkak when He got his answer from God. God is still on the throne. When He saw the destruction that was coming it was almost like He was sorry He placed so much emphasis on God to reveal to him the events that were about to unfold.
So I continue to ask God. Why is it so. Why is it so.? Is it that he wants his people, Not in bondage as in Egypt but in the wilderness; just getting by, but definitely not in the promised land.Too.
My brother I wish to beat a drum. I wish to shout from the rooftops. The bible says that the wealth of the righteous has been stored up by the wicked. It is our wealth. For GENERATIONS it has been stored up getting bigger and bigger just for us. I will tell you a secret. There steps you can take right now and probably already are preparing whereby you will be able to take advantage of THE largest transfer of wealth the world has ever known. The Lord is going to bring it about supernaturally for this reason.
His gospel is going to be preached and taught in every nation of the world. This will take trillions of dollars. The Lord is returning for a victorious church. A church that is wealthy and prosperous. Do not feel forsaken because the enemy has thwarted your every effort to obtain wealth. I say it to be. There will become a day soon when the transfer will start. The financial capitals of the world will have to be shaken and turned upside down. How else to get a stingy man to relinquish his money. Stand him on his head and shake him; empty his pockets.
Start this day to structure your affairs for this great transfer of wealth. Then when the Lord needs $10,000.00 or a $100,000.00 He will know where He can count on it to come from. I want to give you a vision. Start envisioning large sums of money you will be able to give to the Lord in the last days; get it in your spirit , put it on your tongue, get it in your mind , live it breathe it, follow His commands to Praise and to Give and to Worship, and to Love whether you feel like it or not. A commandment is a commandment. When Jesus said it is was not a suggestion or a guideline. It was still a commandment. And see if Christ doesn't start looking your way. In Christ..gregor |
