DJ: US Computer Group Secures Strategic Agreement with Xybernaut Corp.
FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 1998--US Computer Group Inc.
(USCG), a subsidiary of Tech Electro Industries Inc. (Nasdaq:TELE), Monday
announced that it had entered into a strategic alliance with Xybernaut Corp.
(Nasdaq:XYBR).
This agreement enables USCG to enter the wearable computing marketplace
using Xybernaut's Mobile Assistant Series of computers as well as its
voice-enabled Assist Series software products. US Computer will provide
sales and marketing as well as distribution and service support for these
products in USCG's geographical marketplaces.
By combining Xybernaut's strengths in application development and the Voice
Use Interface with US Computer's strength in market knowledge and service,
both companies hope to develop solutions to address the needs of vertical
markets.
Stephen Davies, president and chief executive officer of USCG stated that,

and also develop Mobile Assistants solutions for its customer base. We hope
