><>...Steve, you are a good brother who makes a lot of good sense....

And you are right concerning everything you stated....They are my sentiments exactly....

It has always been my position as a servant of God to enlighten and be enlightened in order to bring forth the word of God to those who are in most need of it....and you know something Steve when I don't know something that really excites me....because that gives me more reason to learn it, whatever it is.

It is many times taken as "superiority" if one does know something and says so....this is intolerable and should least of all come from christians, especially concerning the word of God.

Unfortunately I have learned in my many years of living that it is the christians who are the least tolerable of other "christians".....

It is always a game of "one upmanship"....And it becomes very discouraging to me except for the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His shed blood at the cross for all....

Oh sure Steve I know I am far from perfect, God knows I'm not, but I never in all my years of serving God debated with anyone the truths of God and had bad feelings about it EXCEPT on the INTERNET.....and the reason is as you say....Feelings are difficult if not impossibe to convey....Many people take everything too PERSONAL....and IMO...this is a personality flaw....not an Internet flaw...

In most cases those same people would even in a face to face debate could never go on "Crossfire"...<g>....they are just not built for it...

In my lawschool days, (oh those were the days) as well as in court rooms today...one must be equipped to debate both sides of the law so that one could be prepared to convince the judge of the correct law and or statute that should be applied to a certain case....
And as is the case with "crossfire" each attorney must present his/her case in the best light for their client.....win or loose after much back and forth "arguing".....attorneys usually always stay associates.

The point is as you stated it, we must be willing to accept that their are other beliefs out there and maybe just maybe....the ones some people have believed for years may not be true....we can all learn from one another if we are "willing " to....Trouble is some people are to prideful to think that they might be wrong on anthing...

Any way Steve my loving brother it sure is a comfort to have you around here....How long has it been now?.....I have been here since August....I was here at the inception of this God blessed thread....you came real soon after....many have come and gone but we have endured.....Praise be to God!
I am weary now my good brother....I think I will retire for the evening....

2 Cor.4:8-15
Love to you my brother in our Lord Jesus the Christ...
Shalom...><>
