A new stock which I have taken an inital position in, is NEVTAH,Tower Oil This company's stock has taken a tumble from .60 to as low as .13 recently on heavy trading. With the prospects it has, the drop may be the result of a short raid or tired investors waiting for the company to get on the right track. They have announced that they are successfully employing a new stripper well technique which is being favouably received by the oil industry and should provide them with cash flow. An option agreement for a substantial holding in promising oil reserve in the Crimea may have an impact on the stock in the long term. But what attracted me to the stock is a gas and oil play in the Gulf of Mexico on the Island of Matagorda [part of US]. A joint venture agreement to drill on this prolific area is expected in the next couple of weeks, with drilling to begin in August. This play, similar to Anvil's, would provide NTAH with sufficient cash flow for the company to fund all other promising projects. The announcement of the J/V would probably result in an immediate jump in the stock price back to the .60 level and of course a significant drilling success would se the stock react. as Anvil has, to higher multiples.
