Here is some info I got in the mail today.

PCS Findings
PCS has identified numerous instances
where prescriptions for both Viagra and
nitrates were dispensed within a period
consistent with concomitant use, despite
the contraindication of concomitant
administration. PCS collects prescription
drug information continuously and processes
240 to 300 million claims per year for more
than 50 million Americans. According to
the PCS prescription claims database for
April and May 1998~:

2.2 percent of patients (1,949 out of 87,996)
had prescriptions filled for both Viagra
and nitrates
59 percent of these patients had the
Viagra and nitrate prescriptions written
by different physicians
21 percent of these patients had the
Viagra and nitrate prescriptions filled
at different pharmacies

How's that for a legal nightmare.
