This shows what happens when people who preach hate find an audience among the young and disaffected:

cnn.com

The kids who did the shooting deserve whatever sentence they get, and probably a good deal more. But I wish there's some way they could prosecute the older members of "the group" that put the poison in their minds in the first place.

More evidence that there are some people who shouldn't have weapons: in some twisted way these kids - and the adults who primed them - actually believed that they were defending their liberties.

I've asked this question before, still no answer: if we have an armed citizenry to defend us from government abuse, who decides at what point it becomes legitimate to use the arms? Some people think any form of taxation is abuse. Does that give them the right to shoot the local IRS man? Some people think all police activity is harassment. Does that give them the right to shoot at cops?

Screwed up as government may be, it is at least in some way accountable to the people. More than you can say about some of the people who would like to take government into their own hands.
