If AT&T purchased ASND, ASND would not be able to sell product to any competitive carrier in effect reducing their available Service Provider market. This of course would include competitive RBOC's seeing to get into the IXC market. AT&T would have to position ASND as an enterprise product in order to realize the value...not a good play. Personally my guess is ASND knows this and would avoid a purchase by any carrier.... OG
