Hey Pizzaman,

I read an interesting post to consider........wouldn't it be considered very risque for Vivus to get ride of it's core sales force without some sort of fairly solid commitment (albeit verbal) for a partnership or buyout. Notice how Vivus clearly had a set time-frame to give up use of those employees after cutting them loose to the other company? It really smells like a deal of some sort is going down. For those of us a bit anxious to hear about something soon also consider that Vivus does not have anybody calling on the PCP's who will be the key to a recovery in domestic scripts. Therefore, as each day passes that MUSE is not being detailed to the PCPs Vivus is potentially losing hundreds of thousands on lost sales. It would behoove me to believe that Vivus is not clearly aware of this fact and I thus think we may all be surprised to hear some good news sooner rather than later. Knowledge is power (wish we knew what goes on behind closed doors)!
