Sir,
A stock split would be a very stupid thing to do right now. While I certainly believe that RMBS will be a superstar in the coming years, it could also just as easily fall back into the "normal" (note the quotations, please) valuation models. Besides, some bad news could easily bring us back to 35, where we were "news" came out to push us to 60.
With a split, that could put Rambus easily in the teens, which is not good. A secondary offering in the near future makes a lot of sense, but a split certainly does not.
And just for the record, I bought at 38 in March, and sold on Day 2 of the rally at 58+. I figured it would come back to the 45-50 range, but alas, I was mistaken. I am still patiently waiting for that day, but a good earnings report and I may have to raise my re-entry point to my 58+ if I can ever get it. I think I will.
Thanks.
