Of course they are. But even as a Libertarian, if the gov't sends me a check (God I hope they do!)...I'll cash it. I'll take "free" money wherever I can. Anybody would. So...the money is a small part of the problem. The real problem is educating people that the money isn't "free" and that every time they cash it, they further the tyranny that makes them dependent on the check to begin with... Federal money (to welfare queens and major corporations alike) is like heroin. You love it while you got it. You lose it, and you go through a withdrawal. But to live a fully active, productive life, you've got to cut it out......but you can't do that until you understand how it is destroying you.
