<<the advent of the internet roams the world with unprecedented speed.>>

I agree, LU, CSCO and the like will profit ten times over in the future, but INTC, at this point, is not going along for the ride. A billion connected computers? Sure, but what price are consumers paying for them? Not the $2500 people used to pay, and thats where INTC made all of its money. Sub $500 computers are on the horizon, ASP's are still dropping and this will only continue, hurting INTC, CPQ and others. As far as speed is concerned most of that will come from cable modems and the new copper wire technology. My cable company is setting copper up for testing right now, and I don't need a 400 meg processor to run it. get it through your head, people don't need $2500 computers to connect to the internet.

I have the same question for you, I have presented my case for a INTC price decline, what is yours for a price appreciation. All of you guys are the same, INTC will go up because its INTC.....SO WHAT....remeber IBM in the 1980's, it took 10 years for them to recover, and I would bet investors were taking the same slant then as INTC investors are now....
