Grant, Remember that I said that it is rare for a textbook to mention evolution, much less teach it in any depth. I should have said "up to through the high school level" by the way. I can't foresee what a teacher says about it. If you want an example of the other extreme, my daughter had a math teacher who spent a short time every day on the lesson, and the bulk of the time talking about the Bible. In Math! Nothing was ever done about it even after many complaints. His students did very poorly in math tests. Duh.

Dolphins were once land mammals that returned to the sea, so the analogy would be valid.
