I am hoping for a breakout. Tech. view says it's a 50-50 chance. My thinking that it will be resolved on the up side is speculation.

The bad thing that has happenned, is that the big caps went up by themselves. There are only two things that can happen now. Either the rest of the market catches up, or we see a DOW in the high 5 thousands.

The good thing is that smaller cap indexes have out preformed on this decline.

I bought MSFT in Oct. '86 at 36 (six splits since then) , I sold it at 54, in Feb. 1987. That trade was dumb. If you trade techs, trade em'. Don't make a trade a long term investment because it went down. that the mistake I see over and over. People sell their winners, and hold their loosers for the long term. You should be buying only the best companies for the next 5-+ years. Not this years best.
