Profile of a Hype or Bashing Hypesters
I saw a post that I thought deserved a bit of follow up. We all make mistakes, we all bash, we all hype. What we don't all do, is get sanctimonious and start calling the kettle black. I am guilty, like everyone else, of pushing stocks I like. I try to be temperate. heheheh
Let's follow up on this post here. #reply-5184220
Ravi is not happy with a poster named Dave Gore, he feels that the crappy stock he is in on is one promoted by Dave Gore. Did Dave pump this stock, lets look, what are we looking for you ask ?
The Pump The pump is just that, it is unjustified statements, supported by stock operator activity to give an impression of big things happening, soon. Buy now. That is the Pump, just buy the thing.
  Dave Gores first post #reply-4295945
Dave, allow me to interject here. If the President is telling everybody that news will be out on such and such date in the future, it isn't news. This is a fine distinction, but "leaking news' is bad, period, it certainly doesn't warrant any compliment for honesty. Pump phrases include stuff like, "that technology is worth a lot", "other business...is strong", "clearly undervalued"
Pure pump, no substance at all #reply-4312253, I especially like the "watch this!"
Look at this one, #reply-4335056, the evil MM's appear, playing games, and we have a dream price target, thanks Dave Gore for that substantial contribution to our knowledge.
The Dump Dumping means the price will go down as every bid is a target for a seller who knows the play is a "suckers rally" or as Terence Mitchell calls it so perfectly, a "victims rally". Thanks Terence, excellent term. Hold Now Just don't sell the thing.
Here is Dave on the Evil MM's, how to get rid of nagging doubts and more helpful dream prices. #reply-4335818
Now we wait, right Dave, the "good news" is always good. #reply-4377765
From the horses mouth to our ears, thanks again Dave Gore #reply-4388071, has it occurred to Dave Gore that we don't want him to be the "source for the news", his reliability as a "disseminator of news to the public" is not well established.
Well Dave has all the goods in this post, every little trinket you have dreamed about wrapped up in a nice informative "Dave Gore/Irwin Roth News Release for the Little Guy, Please do Not Distribute." The best part is Irwin Roth is going to do something about the stock price, thanks Irwin, but I actually suspect that the stock price is largely your doing already.
How about this little Hype Gem from that last post. There is no hype in this man and he asked me not to hype either which is why I am not listing many of the many Music Artists, TV Networks, major Networking Companies, etc. they are in talks with. Thanks Dave Gore, very considerate of you.
Another Dave Gore News Release #reply-4415452
Dave Gore reassures Ravi #reply-4474471, poor Ravi, is he losing money yet. Dave will have Irwin "look into it".
More pure hype form Dave Gore, keep up the good hyping Dave #reply-4475530
Here is Ravi thanking Dave for the last "Dave Gore/Irwin Roth News Release for the Little Guy, Please do not Distribute." #reply-4481833
Dave reassures investors that this stock was NOT supposed to go up, contrast this with his "$4.50 on Tuesday" stance of earlier. This is the dump phase, no sell orders form little fish are wanted or needed, just buyers who can be body slammed and trashed for a few thousand dollars, there is good money if enough little fish can be gutted. #reply-4509932
Hype Classic This post is what I call Hype Classic, the company mouthpiece, in this case Dave Gore, tells everyone when the news will be out, some news, he goes on to allude to the wonderful stuff they are doing, hints at "high level talks" which he can't disclose, and embellishes the whole ball of dung with the assurance that Mr. Roth would never hype. Hype Classic is the easiest hype to spot. #reply-4536072
Hype Classic is very effective, here is a poster asking Dave Gore if he knows what the news will be, this is quite funny, don't you think. Poor Bruce, if only he knew. #reply-4536229
Here is Dave delineating the future revenue streams that will enrich shareholders. #reply-4568201
The Sheperd calms his dwindling flock, the wolves feed. #reply-4595541
Dave Gore sets some new price targets and explains the evil MM's again. #reply-4669442
A Small Sad String of Posts ISDN, now fully into the dump phase has passed it previous floor and is heading to new lows. Dave Gore lets everyone no he has notified briefing.com on ISDN and look at the reaction, oh those were heady days. #reply-4669933 #reply-4670308 Poor bebu, look who is trusting, heheheh #reply-4670335
Daves disclaimer as the dump continues, in a nutshell => dump #reply-4670392 and => pump #reply-4335056
Thanks Dave Gore "...remember it was a $5.00 stock." #reply-4757491
Dave has identified the problem, the company needs some HYPE to make it work right, he also tells everyone a live concert is being lined up now. #reply-4838199
Dave, this post should be on It's all Your Fault, a thread we have here at SI for just that sort of thing. Anyway, this is a real funny post, sort of like the caterpillar coming out of the butterfly (I have that right). Dave tells Ravi it is all somebodies fault, likely the rude and uncultured people at SI who just don't believe in holding onto dog stocks that are in a dump phase, especially if they bought the pump. #reply-4850997
Dave has only complaints now, this is a firm that just won't do what Dave Gore wants, which is hire a promoter to hype the stock. Dave, I have news for you, whoever they have doing the Pump and Dump seems very clever to me. A lot of little fish got gutted here. #reply-5115394 |
