CAD is certainly no killer 3D app. Small niche market. Now and forever. You ask why TDFX hasn't conquered the Poser/Bryce/3DS/Lightwave/trueSpace et al. domain? Can't accelerate in a window. Why did ELSA pick up Banshee? It can accelerate in a window. Fast, and cheap. 3D Labs is about to get murdered in this space by 3DFX and nVidia, among others. JMO
