As I'm reading the thread...

Happy New Year!!! Okay...so it's actually a blistering July '98 in Houston as I'm typing this. However, as an SI Time Traveler reading my way through the entire thread, I'm back in December '96.

A few highlights from that period. Jerry is pointing out that system testing is nice, but you have to physically examine what each trigger is doing to understand your system. Jim has started playing around with his system of a couple of moving averages and RSI. Richard is not letting us forget that simple systems, Dalh with MACD, can give very good results. Bill is having a ball with his new MACD, RSI, CCI system. Andy has been going nuts with moving averages. And Dave just keeps coming with his amazing posts on the nuts and bolts of working with TA in the real world. He just recently blew everyone away with his Message 603243 post.

So what's my point. There's a ton of information buried in this thread. Andy and the group have done a lot of work collecting links to the highlights but don't deny yourself the education of studying the entire thread. I'll try not to harp on this subject too much but I'm really enjoying the learning process.
