TriSense Software and Wausau Financial
Systems Form Strategic Alliance

July 14, 1998

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE) --

Agreement Brings PaySense Electronic Bill Presentment Solution to

Over 700 Banks and Billers

At the TAWPI '98 Conference, TriSense Software Ltd. and Wausau Financial Systems
Inc. (WFS) announced the formation of a strategic alliance to provide TriSense
Software's electronic bill presentment and payment solution, PaySense, to WFS
customers and prospects.

The alliance allows WFS to offer its clients a strategically important new technology and
provides TriSense a well-respected distribution channel for the marketing, sales,
installation and support of its PaySense product.

TriSense, a Minneapolis-based financial systems software company, specifically
designed its PaySense solution to allow banks, remittance processors and billers to
control all aspects of electronic bill presentment and payment. PaySense allows banks
and remittance-processing companies to own and offer an electronic billing and
payment service to their commercial customers, and gives billers the option of
implementing electronic billing directly or through their trusted commercial bank or
remittance processor.

Wausau Financial Systems, a remittance and item processing solution provider,
currently serves over 700 customers worldwide. Wausau has successfully installed
systems in many of the nation's leading commercial banks and payment service bureaus.
In addition, remittance processing technology has been provided to some of the
country's largest billers through direct relationships. This established base has exhibited
tremendous interest in the PaySense product through the introduction phase.

"Electronic bill presentment and payment is the next logical step in remittance
processing," said Robert Weirauch, WFS president. "Banks and lockbox operators can
now be e-billing system owners rather than just agents of someone else's service. This
will enable billers to capitalize on their customer relationships. PaySense is the
cornerstone of our strategy to bring empowering electronic commerce solutions to our
customers and prospects. "

With PaySense, remittance businesses can control all aspects of the service - including
the biller relationship, management of the biller's data and service-fee pricing - without
relying on someone else's payment processing service. This allows banks and lockbox
operators to offer unparalleled savings and control to billers while retaining a vital role
in the emerging electronic payments industry.

"The benefits of PaySense will be made even more valuable in the capable hands of
Wausau Financial Systems," said David R. Lamm, president and chief executive officer
of TriSense Software Ltd. "Their remittance technology and attention to service provide
natural, complementary assets to electronic bill presentment and will serve their
customers well in the evolving world of payments."
