VETX -- Among other products, they market E-Weave, an E-Commerce Solution.

vetx.com

The focus of the E-Weave product is the provision of an application-level integration component that will link web-based applications to legacy-based applications. Developers of Web sites and e-commerce store-fronts operate on data quite differently than legacy applications do. In addition, storefront developers are often very far removed from the mechanics of working with a legacy system. As such, providing a component that reduces these complexities to a manageable level will be valuable as well as compelling.

The E-Weave offering will provide methods for e-commerce implementations to flexibly define data structures in a self-descriptive, run-time environment. Then, either via programmatic or user-interface control, these data structures may be mapped into fixed field, record-oriented structures that are native to existing legacy applications. These legacy applications may be able to be integrated with little or no modifications to the existing software, provided they have a well-defined interface, both in terms of messaging and data structure definition.

The positioning of this product will steer well clear of integrating with large packaged applications, such as SAP, Baan, PeopleSoft, etc. Many large competitors will be addressing this marketplace. Though our offering would be quite suitable to the implementation of such interfaces; we will focus instead on custom applications in these legacy systems.
