Direct Sales and Dealer/Distributor Channels Augment Pending Corporate Deals To Bring Advanced Products to Home, Home/Office and Small Office Users
SAN JOSE, Calif., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Neuronetics(TM) VoiceNet Corporation, Inc., a joint venture of Formulab Neuronetics(TM) Corporation Limited (Nasdaq: FNCLY and Australian Stock Exchange: FNC) and Goldtron Limited (Singapore: GOLDTEL), today announced the production schedule and product availability of the company's VMSOHO series. This series presently includes three advanced voicemail/pbx/telephony systems: the VM2000, VM2200 and the VM2600.
Previewed at this year's Computer Electronics Show in January, the VMSOHO Series has recently undergone a rigorous process of feature-set refinement based on feedback received from leading OEM evaluators. Companies participating in the evaluation included world class companies from the Communications market, as well as those focusing on Consumer Electronics. The resulting production-ready product will be available for delivery next quarter.
The company has also begun an aggressive program to add Dealers, Distributors and Installers in North America as a direct result of its discussions following the CES show. The flexibility of the product architecture is plainly evident in the first three products of the series. All three products are based upon the same hardware and software design. The VM2000 is a ''plug-and-play'' product that brings the power and efficiency of Voicemail to any home or small establishment. The VM2200 supports additional functionality, including a 2x2 PBX switch that creates 2 independent extensions from 2 incoming analog telephone lines and advanced telephony, to home and home/office installations. The VM2600 brings the greatest diversity of features and functionality, including a 2x6 PBX switch that creates 6 independent extensions from 2 incoming analog telephone lines, to larger homes and small offices. All systems offer up to 16 mailboxes with two to eight hours of recording and the VM2200 and VM2600 support many popular telephone features such as call forwarding, call transfer, urgent message deliver, conference calling. All units offer a full Computer Telephony Interface that passes the Caller ID information to a PC.
To initiate these new channels of distribution, the company today launched its new WEB site www.sohoproducts.com. In addition to pages focused on OEM requirements, new sections have been included that detail programs for Dealers and Distributors, as well as extensive documentation on features and benefits of the product. The site will soon support direct purchase of the product via credit card orders. Additional planned promotional activities include newspaper and magazine print ads, radio spots and an Internet banner ad campaign.
