Microsoft profits from Apple alliance
...With the news last month that Corel Corp. was shutting down its WordPerfect word processing operation, Microsoft effectively "owns the word processing market," Waldman said. "But that doesn't mean we're going to stop doing great products for the Macintosh. We don't act like we're in first place; we act like we're in second -- and we are, really.
