re Market Cap

Greg, I don't know from market cap or valuations. Ask The Cat or Geoff.

If AMZN is worth $90 per share on negative earnings,
and CPQ is worth $32 on zero earnings,
how can DELL's price be out of line?

The simplistic answer is "DELL should have the market cap assigned by the market."

More seriously, I understand your concern... however, I'll pass the buck and ask in return:
"Should market capitalization determine the value of a stock?" and if so,
"Why?" and further,
"Show me a model for determining a fair stock price / valuation based on market cap." (with credit to CTC)

Regards, 3.
