Don't worry, there was plenty of coverage. The radio news is giving it good play. Here's the potential downer, though. What Clinton was calling for (and it's not a bad idea, even if I am a staunch capitalist) was a sharing of information during this time of national crisis...effectively calling on companies like TAVA to place their knowledge base into the "public domain"...in some ways, this speech does devalue the database, if the data is ultimately compiled by others. It might an interesting play for TAVA to preempt things and place their database into the public domain, keeping the methodology and the software tools to manage the audit/inventory process to themselves... Might be a GREAT chance for national press coverage, and could get the phone ringing off the hook by those needing help... It's a gamble I'd definitely take if I were them, as the payoff could be e-freakin-normous. Anyone?
