Emmo: Jeez, they just keep getting thinner and thinner(there's a Stephen King novel in there somewhere, heh!). LOL!! If they keep going this way soon you'll be able to pick your teeth with one of their laptops!
But given how.....eh......brutal I sometimes am when pounding away on my current Toshiba laptop, particularly when responding to some posts or intra-company e-mail, ;-), ya gotta wonder just how durable they're gonna be, eh? What the hell, maybe someday we'll all be outfitted with a ethernet(or FDDI) adapter interface in our heads, and we'll think our way around the net. But I digress......as to what battery's going to be used....well, Lith-poly is the logical candidate once it "comes of age." In the interium? Lith-ion? But this leads me to the realization that as miniaturization continues in the laptop world there's the more than likely scenario that you'll have this credit card thick laptop capable of a BEGILLION(well, maybe not THAT many) instructions per second and able to do everything short of tucking you in at night, being supported by a battery 3-4 time's its thickness. HEH! Quite the picture, THAT, eh? It's no wonder OEM's are screaming for better batteries.
