I too am interested in the xDSL plays, but I don't think they are closely tied to the video market. I think the video market is tied more to cost than anything else. Intel is about to put H.324 video into every PC. It will be buried in the system just as the sound card and modem are today and thus will be perceived as "free". This will use a POTS line and will be just a phone call with a picture added. I think this may be a catalyst to drive the market.

When xDSL does hit it will be for internet access and will enable higher speed and thus better quality video features.
