He must have thought earnings would exceed and he could be a hero. About the earnings today, hopefully Intel put all the bad sh*t into them, and it's onward and upward from now on. This is not such an unusual practice. Take revenues (or charges) that are right on the border between quarters and could be put into either. If you're trying to get the "last weak quarter" behind you, err on the side of pushing the good stuff forward. Tony
