What it means to me is that management is fiercely detmined to grow this company. Primarily thru acquisition. I've been asking for DAYS: how are all these acquisitions to be financed? If you can explain to me how I can get something for nothing--and, in fact, MAKE MONEY ON IT--I'd be much obliged. The folks at the supermarket balked when I offered them shares rather than cash. Now let's get serious: take a look at a "real" company that embarked on an acquistions campaign in 1995. Platinum Technologies (PLAT). Yes, there are (wholesome) differences: they didn't just buy up anything in any sector; they had a plan. Even so, the stock suffered. I got in in 1996, and we all had a rough time for a long while. Why? Well, because of all those acquisitions. Now everything's fine. BUT: they're a company with PRODUCTS. They work in a defined sector. They are very bright people. So check it out: even with all that going for 'em, they had problems during the acquisition period. So you guys think share price is gonna quintuple anytime soon? As I say, go have a look.
