Most companies and most people report any transaction in the most favorable light. Most of us suggest that we got a great buy if we are a buyer and if we are a seller we got more than it was worth. Thats why I try to sort thru and say does it appear as if this transaction is good for the corporation and might it fit in their strategic plan. I can't verify values. When any company buys any company NYSE or otherwise nobody knows if the deal was good until a year or two after the acquisition.
