Roland, I've answered my own questions. He gas/liquid 4 deg K. YBCO 92 degK superconducting temp max. $He = 10 x $N = $10/gal = $2.50/litre approx. No worry about that price for a piffling amount in a base station. No good for 1000s of km of superconducting train lines though! Therefore definitely He gas phase refrigerated base station coolers in the Superconducting Technology system.
These phonons are a bit of a hassle, mucking about with electrons somehow. I say make the up and down spin in the quarks go the other way and then we should really see some action! Especially if we can get positron inversion synergistically correlated with inductive impedance effects of the phonons. It's all a bit much for an ex-civil engineer oil industry technical guy!
