Emile,
Glad to hear you found peace and joy through Christianity! These truly are great gifts. I can understand why you found Buddhism lacking if it was only a mental trip for you, and did not affect more than your mind. Did you study with a teacher or through books? Did you do a variety of practices? Which school did you study? There's a lot of ways to approach Buddhism, and different approaches work best for different people. Many have found peace and joy through Buddhism, but it is very challenging to find anything meaningful without a good teacher. As an eminent teacher has said, "One hour of meditation is better than reading 100 books on Zen". I hope you have continued peace and happiness following the Christian path.

Regards,
Craig
