Paul. I believe that Andy sold something on the order of 50 Million dollars worth of stock. Most people even in that Tax bracket don't sell option just because they can be exercised. Most people wouldn't be that interested in giving the government 14 Million dollars without good reason, especially if Intel is a "no brainer" sure fire short term investment.

Certianly, you are not suggesting that Andy plans to cash in 50 million dollars worth of stock, send 14 million to the government, and then get 5% to 10% in the bank on the remaining 36 million. If Andy has a better investment in mind, I think we would all like to hear about it.

I am sure that Insiders do sell these options occasionally, but there usually is a reason. Industry experts widely recognizes a correlation with poor short term performance and insider selling.
