Carter, <A penny here, a penny there. Who cares ? > AMD. They would love to have a single penny. Last 10 quarters combined have yielded AMD a grand total of -150 pennies/share. In all seriousness, your point is right on target. It always amazes me how people get so wrapped up in a single earnings report and whether a company beats or misses earning estimates by a couple pennies. To "great pipeline" you can add - superior management - tremendous resources - unmatched manufacturing prowess - mind boggling capacity - great brand awareness/marketing - core products at the heart of a global technology revolution which is just beginning FF
