More interesting news, if I didn't boodle the link. Essentially, the (though seemingly well argued) is that 300mm is being pushed out to 2005 because of revolt by equip makers - costs too much. Consequences to WFR? If in fact they are a bit behind the curve, does it matter at this point? How much are they into the costs on 300, and will there be a significant enough market to make it anything other than dead money for several years? Seems like the 200 mm wafers will be the standard and the source of revenue for number of years to come.
