C'mon IBthink... The only reason a dead horse like ASND drove up so many points in such a short time after such a stupendous fall... is the belief among many that LU is drooling over the prospect of snapping them up in October. Dropping to 1/4 of 52wk high then regaining 2x off the low in a matter of months you've got to admit is just plain unusual. A stock doesn't get shot dead like they did last year and then suddenly make a miraculous recovery unless some big-time fundamentals have changed. Can anyone name that change? Nothing about ASND mgt has changed. Ol' Morey is still the same guy- for better or worse. So then what is it? Perhaps many are still thinking LU. Though with what LU has been buying lately... maybe that won't happen either.
