Ah Darleen, You have it. With "their" computers and where perhaps 90% of all commerce is done by these plastic instruments, "they" can (with ease) track what you have spent and from there know how much you have earned and how much tax is owed. I have heard the new "funny" US currency is able to be picked up by metal detectors in airports and that police will soon have available counting metal detectors. There is also a (in the conspiracy realm)a thought that the new generation of satellites will be able to also "count" bills & and determine who has how much money. Now let us imagine that if this is true, that absolute control of the economy could be around the corner. The only way anything can be controlled(or taken) is if it can be tracked and followed. An ounce of gold might well look,to these satellites, the same as perhaps an iron washer or a silver dollar. Could it be someone does not want us to be able to carry say, tens of thousands of dollars in a pocket or paper bag "they" do not know about? Knowledge, tracking,and control, are the very essence of power. Is it possible these are the goal? rh
