Well; During the second quarter of 1998, the Company experienced certain non-recurring items, including 1) a pre-tax gain of $6.0 million from the sale/leaseback of its corporate aircraft, ------------------- with sales and margins down, I do wonder what it would look like with out the gain of the above non-recurring item. -------------- and Inventory balances at the end of the second quarter of 1998 decreased by $93.7 million.. Seems to me if you reduce inventory by that much net or at least gross profit ought to be up by at least that much, were did the inventory go ? ----------------------------- A $3.4 million pre-tax expense recorded for the retirement package of former Chairman and CEO, Raymond Zimmerman. Can you picture rewarding this clown with that much money just to get rid of him after him leading the company into a black hole. They will be digging out of for some time to come, if they get out at all. They have a ton of debt, and a lot of interest to service. Jim
