The analysts can spin all they want to, but IMHO Intel's report looks to me like they had to really scratch to make the number 66 cents. Anyone in accounting know the games that accountants can play. This sector has downward momentum at the same time large markets are experiencing downward momentum...I wouldn't be surprised to see Japan and Pacific rim to hurt them a lot in the second half of 1998. Time will tell....I guess that's what make's it interesting I think the market's liquidity will start to decline for the big caps in a matter of weeks/months.
