The decline of NSCP has several reasons: 1) Insider selling, 2) Competition pressure from Microsoft's IE, 3) The negotiations with media companies have not reached a results that some traders are waiting for. 4) Recent prices soar has squeezed most of shorts out.

Among the above four reasons, the first one played a role on today's drop. It won't be a factor later on. The second one is an old story which has been keep talking for years. The survey from those Street noise making companies did not bring us convincing data that NSCP will be out of game soon or even in three to five years. The fact that two major browsers share the markets will be a long long boring game, a game it won't generate any winner! Never ever! The third and forth reasons are real, I think. Some of traders who bought with margin are not willing to hold longer, even though the negotiations are still going. To establish a long term partnership isn't that simple as we trade a stock. I think no big announcements came out very quickly is a good sign that means both sides are taking serious on that. I guess that we should hear some news in this month. A buyout isn't likely but it could be better than Infoseek-Disney deal. Technically speaking, I think NSCP may turn bullish next week after option playings on the coming Friday. I still believe that NSCP is way undervalue and is a stock to make you richer in a long run. Good luck!
