Geeez, I can see it now. Marktemakers making a bundle because they're on the virtual phone, deciding whether they want to fill your order or not for 17 seconds. And 32 seconds for over 1000 shares they said? Ya' gotta' be jerkin' me. The only thought that makes sense is toward the last part of part 2, centralized book of orders without marketmakers altogether!!!! That would make it truly a "traders" market without having to play "beat the dealer". I guess I'll dream about that one for the next ten years. If worse comes to worse, maybe we should boycott the NASDAQ and just play with NYSE and AMEX for one full week. Maybe they would get the picture real fast.
