John. Did you miss my point? What happens to margins if the Mendocino (or the Celeron for that matter) cannibalizes the Pentium II? Wasn't too worried about the Celeron but you don't see me making fun of the Mendocino. Answer, they drop. I don't know what this has to do with being bitter. It should also be a concern of yours as an Intel shareholder. Maybe the Xeon could make up for it...but one thing I've learned being in business...once the consumer tastes cheap prices it's a one way trap door. You may think the Celeron is "low-end junk" but the mendocino is not IMHO. Jim
