Another one to look at is PDE (formerly, I think, a favorite of Big Dog), yesterday traded 2,380,200 vs. an average volume of 626,000. I've never really been interested in PDE, but I get the feeling some of those buyers are going to make a lot of money in the next couple of years.
Others trading at nearly twice average volume include RON, SCSWF and CXIPY.
UFAB traded more than 12 times average daily volume (yes, 12 times), but went down more than a point, so buyer beware (could someone have been triggering stop losses, or did bad news leak?).
