Is there any info out there about the proposals to change the tax system. As has been stated, ad infinitum, this is the most important specific item that the gov't must reform. Make it easier to understand and comply with, while also making it more fair for all involved. I remember going over to Russia 4 -5 years ago looking to do business, and if I paid all of the taxes that was necessary I would be paying an 80% tax rate. With the kind of risk I was looking at, I didn't think I would get a very good return on my investment. Thanks everyone for your informative posts. It helped me keep my cool as TRF was getting killed these past months. One last question. The following link is what I check to see what stocks did in Russia. But the percent increase never seems to match what is reported elsewhere, (WSJ). Anyone have any answer to this delimma? rtsnet.ru Jeff
