You imply that MM's provide a service. MM's provide no service to any individual investor. They will walk away from from any stock, refusing to provide a bid or offer. I have been involved in a member of the SPX when all the MM's backed away, no bid, no offer.

MM's have never provided a service to the individual investor. Their sole objective is to take as much of your money as possible.

MM's are crooks. I hope a few of them are finally sent to jail where they belong.
