Alaska? I'm dubious about Alaska. Yes, the launch will take place over vastly uninhabited areas. But ICBM's being launched that close to Russia? I don't care what direction they head. Also, the effects of cold on the Space Shuttle have cancelled launches if the temperature is below 40 degrees. I'm just wondering how -40 degrees will affect the stationary equipment?
