Liquid Audio deal is not the big news, though it does allow for a small
[but rapidly increasing] revenue stream via direct delivery. The big
move for Platinum was in buying Intersound Records, which now accounts
for 60 percent of their revenues. Intersound is a major player.

Platinum has a distribution deal with Polygram [now owned by UMG, a
division of Seagrams]. This deal accounts for about 30percent of
revenues and gets the many other subsidiary labels some real exposure.

2 things make PTET a good play at this time. Momentum on a tight float
should make this rise like K-Tel is first. Second is the purchase of
Intersound and their newly released catalog to the internet world. The
perception of being a big internet player is what sends the stock up,
not the actual revenues...just ask Amazon.
