<< Other than the stock price, what feels weak?>>
Leeland throwing out a buyout as a possible opportunity. When the stock is at 40 and at its peak, its a great time to sell. But, when the stock is in the 7's, why would you sell? Perhaps this is actually not an option and he said it to try and fuel the stock price. Again, it could be his inability to properly deal with the investing public. I, for one, would have rather heard "at this point, selling VVUS is not an option. Given the current stock price and the future we believe VVUS to have, we feel it would be in the shareholders best interest to put off a selling in the immediate to near future." At least that shows some confidence. Granted, Lee can't win. If he said that, who would believe him? These are the issues we encounter when an incapable mangmt. runs our company. Kudos them for starting and growing the company, but take your bow and get off the stage. Let somebody else perform. All in my opinion.
